Working Together – July 2020

Despite the current lockdown, we have kept in touch with each other and units have been in contact with the girls through WhatsApp, Facebook groups, Zoom meetings and by newsletter. 
One of our Dudley West Brownies did her own video of Celebrate at Home and has now completed her Gold award. 
Other Rainbow, Brownie and Guide units in the District have also been continuing with their badge work to achieve Bronze, Silver and Gold awards. Young Leaders and Duke of Edinburgh Volunteers have been taking an active part in Zoom meetings to complete their young leadership awards and D of E Silver awards. 

Leaders have been contributing in the community working as key workers, helping the NHS with catering, making scrub bags and helping schools with meals for families in need as well as ensuring neighbors and families are well cared for. 

Jo would like to thank and send a big well done to you all. Everyone’s contribution is valued at this difficult time as we all adapt.
