Lower Gornal Celebrates Thinking Day

The 22nd February us an important date in the Guiding calendar – and Lower Gornal Rainbows, Brownies and Guides learnt about China and received two special badges to remember the challenges they took part in – from Tai Chi to learning our names in Chinese and the Guiding promise made by Guides in Asia. 

On the night, the girls chose to donate £45 to Acorn’s Children’s Hospital for children who need specialist care and equipment. 

A special moment was when one of our new Leaders, made their promise along with their daughter who is a Young Leader in front of all the Rainbows, Brownies and Guides in the District.
